and American Truck Simulator sounded better than North American Truck Simulator.ĪTS / ETS are storefronts for DLC. It's not called American because it's going to only be the USA, The Devs said it's Called American because they want to include the whole continent of North America. ETS2 will be the more expensive in the long run because it has more than twice the Map DLCs and other Add-Ons compared to ATS which is only coming up on it's 2nd Birthday next month (Feb 2 2016).Įventually, the Devs want to have all of North America included in ATS, and maybe some of South America as well. ETS2 has a bigger map since its the older one, but ATS will also get more map DLCs. I wouldnt say one is better than the other. Katt, it all comes down to which franchise you want to invest in first (And if you want to drive in Europe or the US. They have more content than the American one. but at the time ATS was still in developement and pre-release. But if you want to play primarily MP, I would recommend you ETS 2.
In my case, I took ETS 2 first, cause in 2013 there was no ATS. Euro Truck Simulator is not worse than ATS, however, it has a different athmosphere -apart from menus, of course xD-.
